Pau Ferro also know as, Morado, Bolivian Rosewood, Santos Rosewood, is not a true rosewood but has been said to be as close to a true rosewood as wood can get. This wood has no pores to fill, therefore making finishing easier. With its varying color and grain patterns it will make a visually pleasing instrument. This set is dry and ready to use. I recommend letting it acclimate to your shop conditions first.
Back - 4 7/8" x 22" - 4 pieces
Sides - 4 7/8" x 32" - 2 pieces
This set has an unjoined four piece back.
* We do not surface sand every set of wood, unless it is necessary, therefore some saw marks from milling will be present. We have a minimum tolerance of .130", unless otherwise noted, but your wood will probably, but not always, be thicker. Further sanding is required by the builder to reach the desired thickness.
