Red Spruce Bracewood 1" x 2" x 20"
This listing is for One 2 inch wide piece of bracewood. If you need more than one piece you need to select the amount needed. Typically, 3 inches of width will brace an acoustic soundboard or 6 inches of width for the back and top. Pictures are for representation of the material grade only.
“Adirondack” Red Spruce (Picea Rubens) is a tonewood that can produce a strong clear tone with complexity at all volume levels. This wood is harder to acquire than other material and the grading allows for more variation and color than other species. It is a highly sought after wood that has been used for years with great success. Many vintage guitars have this wood as a soundboard.
One Piece = Minimum Dimensions - 20"L x 2"W x 1"H
These measurements are my minimum tolerance so the wood you get could, but not always, be on the larger side. If you need specific measurements, that will need to be worked out before shipping. Not all sets are sanded, therefore, there will be some saw marks from the milling process. Additional sanding will need to be done by the buyer.
