1st Grade Sitka Spruce Bracewood (Sold By The Inch)
This listing is for ONE INCH of brace wood. It should take 3-4 inches to brace a Dreadnought Soundboard. Pictures are for representation of the material grade only.
Sitka Spruce is a great material. It is probably one of the most popular soundboard materials on acoustic guitars. It is very stiff and ranges in color from white to a light pink. Well quartered sets will display beautiful medullary rays.
Minimum Dimensions - 1" x 3/4" x 20" If you order more than one inch you could receive a piece that is equal to or greater than the width ordered. For example, if you order 3 inches you could possibly receive 1 piece that is 3" wide.
These measurements are my minimum tolerance so the wood you get could, but not always, be on the larger side. If you need specific measurements, that will need to be worked out before shipping. Not all sets are sanded, therefore, there will be some saw marks from the milling process. Additional sanding will need to be done by the buyer.
